English Language Services

The CAIU supports local education agencies (LEAs) in implementing Title III programs that help multilingual learners attain English proficiency and meet challenging academic standards. Through technical assistance, professional learning, compliance guidance, and collaborative planning, we help schools effectively utilize Title III funding to strengthen language instruction programs and improve outcomes for multilingual learners.

Our team partners with districts to navigate federal and state requirements, monitor program effectiveness, and build sustainable systems that support both students and educators.

The CAIU provides high-quality direct English Language Development (ELD) services to support multilingual learners in school districts across our region. Our certified ELD specialists deliver research-based instruction that develops students' English language proficiency while supporting academic success in all content areas.

Services are tailored to meet each district's needs and may include scheduled direct instruction, progress monitoring, collaboration with classroom teachers, and support for language proficiency assessments. By partnering with districts, we help ensure multilingual learners receive equitable, standards-aligned instruction that promotes language growth, academic achievement, and long-term success.

Please note that ELD services are provided at a rate of $144 per hour.

Once the ELD referral has been received, we will contact you with a proposed service contract.
