The Capital Area Intermediate Unit is committed to sharing resources that align with our values and commitment to all stakeholders. Below you will find a variety of resources organized by our Pillars of Equitable practices.

Equitable Access – resources related to academic access, discipline, and data use, as well as building classrooms on the foundation of belonging and dignity. Resources also include research-based models, Trauma Informed Practices, and Healing Centered Engagement.
 

Building Capacity – resources related to increasing the knowledge and skills of all as related to the practices that build and affirm a culture of belonging and honoring the dignity inherent in all beings.

Organizational Commitments and Practices – resources related to how organizations can build and affirm a culture of belonging and honoring the dignity inherent in all beings through organizational level policies, actions, and commitments. This pillar also includes resources relating to surveying culture, feelings of belongingness and honoring dignity and other suggested reference material.

Partnerships – resources related to developing partnerships supportive to building and affirming a culture of belonging and honoring the dignity inherent in all beings.
