The Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU) believes in the concept of shared leadership. We empower our employees with the knowledge and tools they need to help achieve the CAIU’s mission.

The Executive Director, Administrative Cabinet, and Leadership Team provide guidance, support, and services to our employees and clients. The CAIU regularly engages with district administrators from our member districts; CAIU Cabinet members facilitate monthly or quarterly meetings with their district counterparts in our series of Advisory Councils. The CAIU also devotes considerable time and effort to supporting the implementation of the PA Department of Education's initiatives and regulations.
