A FREE family-friendly event to celebrate our staff, families, and community. All proceeds benefit Champions for Children. All activities are free; food can be purchased from food trucks. We are inviting local vendors, crafters, and artisans to sell their goods. Vendors, you belong at Fall Fest! Sign up for a booth, donate a raffle basket, or just make a donation. Join us in doing all the good we can for those we serve!
Help us celebrate by acknowledging the vital role of physical therapists (PTs) in recovery and mobility enhancement! The CAIU has a knowledgeable team of PTs who promote function in the educational settings across the learner lifespan in the CAIU service area. Our PTs are incredibly flexible, resourceful, and team-oriented. Thank you to our PTs!
The CAIU employs more than 650+ full-time and part-time staff. We have a wide variety of positions in Student Services, Educational Services, Technology, Human Resources, Communications, Business, and Facilities. We all work together to provide innovative services and support to districts, families, and communities.
Capital Area Pathways to Teaching (CAPT) has job-embedded and employer funded options for school employees seeking teacher certification to earn associate's and bachelor's degrees in education, or post-baccalaureate teacher certification. This program seeks to remove barriers for paraprofessionals already working in schools to earn teacher certification and help local school districts address teacher staffing needs.
All-In is Executive Director Dr. Andria Saia’s monthly report to the Board of Directors, and includes articles written by Cabinet members on programs and initiatives in their departments, note-worthy events and happenings from our staff, information on new hires and retirees, compliments to CAIU staff on jobs well-done, and so much more! Each issue also features a column from Dr. Saia on ways the CAIU can #begreat while #changinglives and fostering a sense of dignity and belonging in all staff.
