This service provides independent living skills instruction in the naturally occurring environment. An experienced professional and educational para-professional serve students at the FOL house in Mechanicsburg. The service is designed to be short-term, with students attending a minimum of 15 days per marking period. Situational assessment is included, as well as collaboration with classroom teaching staff for development of IEP components. Focused on Living is available to all students age 14 and older, regardless of disability, who demonstrate the prerequisite skills and meet the established eligibility criteria.
