General Information
If you now receive Food Stamps or TANF Cash Assistance for your child, he/she is eligible to receive free meals. If your total household income is the same or less than the amounts on the Income Chart, your child may be eligible to receive free meals or reduced price meals. A foster child may receive free or reduced price meals.
Each year a new application must be completed even if the child was approved for free and reduced price meals the year prior. Eligibility approvals from last year will carryover until September 30, 2008, however, after September 30 a new application must be submitted and approved in order to continue benefits.
