CAIU Applicant Portal
The CAIU's Applicant Portal is a paperless solution that allows you to complete the employment application process on line at your own pace. Just complete your profile, upload your documents, and apply for positions that match your credentials. It's that easy!
NOTE: Current CAIU employees wishing to apply for positions MUST create a login/password through the Applicant Portal. Your current username/password used for the "Alio Employee Portal" CANNOT BE USED TO ACCESS THE APPLICANT PORTAL.

Clearance Instructions:
All applicants will be required to complete all of the clearances listed below. COPIES OF CURRENT ACT 34, 151, AND 114 CLEARANCES MUST BE ATTACHED TO YOUR PROFILE IN THE APPLICANT PORTAL FOR YOU TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ANY POSITION. Keep in mind that ALL clearances must be less than one year old at the time of hire.
Current Act 34 Clearance (PA Criminal Background Check) - Upon completion, please be sure to click the "certification form" link and print the certificate before closing the window.
Current Act 151 Clearance (Child Abuse Clearance) - Original certificate must be presented.
Current Act 114 Clearance (Federal Fingerprinting) or proof of application thereof*. Please click on the link below for information on the new process for online access of Federal Criminal History Background Check effective December 1, 2008. You Must obtain an FBI Clearance under the PA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. NO OTHER FBI CLEARANCE WILL BE ACCEPTED. DO NOT click the "PA DEPT OF PUBLIC WELFARE" or "PA DEPT OF BANKING". These Clearances WILL NOT be accepted. You Must Present The Registration ID (which starts with PAE) To The CAIU. You may request an "UNOFFICIAL" PAPER COPY of the clearance if you wish.
NOTE: A current medical examination and TB test as required by the Pennsylvania School Code will be required if hired. Health Record Form and TB Test Form
