Teacher (New Position), Student Services (CAPP), Monroe Elementary (Posting #08-051)

Description of Position:

This position, part of a mental health treatment team, is responsible for development and delivery of K-6 curriculum. This position requires the candidate to work closely with fellow professionals to develop effective positive-based behavior plans. Candidate must be able to assess and plan individual and group instruction. Candidate will have experience evaluating student academic levels and designing appropriate remediation. Candidate will have experience working with students whose behavior can be considered disruptive. Candidate will be expected to participate in necessary training to meet students' mental health needs.

Qualifications:
  • PA Instructional I or II Special Education Certification Required
  • Candidate will be Safe Crisis Management Certified or have the ability to attain certification and be able to implement or assist with Safe Crisis Management
Contract:

190-Day Contract - work hours to be determined
